Review: Tower of Dawn

so FINALLY i read this one
because after empire of storms
i got distracted with the rest of my shelves
and they're such long books ...

so even though i rushed out on release day to grab this one
(and kingdom of ash tbh)
they just took up space on my shelves, starring me down

I was now ready to dive back into the world of magic, fae and assassins and see what happened to my lovely characters

let's start with Chaol

honestly, it's been at about 2 years since i read anything from this series, so i had no idea what was going on.

who are these people? (except chaol. but i didn't remember what had happened to him)

but i kept with it, quickly falling back in love with the world and the people who lived there

the only issue i have with this series, is that it's so detail orientated that if i have something on the tv or people around, it's hard to focus and many times i found my eyes going back to the top of the left page so i could reread the past 2 minutes

but i finished it
and loved it

though that "epilogue" was super confusing and i hope that kingdom of ash clears things up because i don't remember the past books

which makes me question if i should reread them
but ...
my tbr is too long for that right now.
