no-vember

what an insane month.
and clearly i was doing reviews only in my head and not here, so behind! eek. will have to get on that...

alright, let's see what happened this month ;

Short month, only read 7 *cringes* and half of 3 others... so... 8.5? thats not any better. oy.

- lets get textual
- how not to date a douchebag
- part of your world
- light between worlds
- roomies
- wicker king
- girls of paper and fire
- *half of nevernight (but i DNF'd)
- shape of water (which i will finish this week)
- ripple effect (which is my bedtime book so it'll be done this weekend)

ugh. that's terrible. Though, they were all great books - except nevernight drove me nuts. For some reason it was such a struggle to read. I liked it, but I had to stop. I'll go back to it one day.

which puts me at 163 for the year. out of 200.
There is no way i'm making my goal. Let me go cry in a corner now. sigh.

Welp. I don't know what this month is going to look like. Work is going to be slow as classes have been cancelled for exams and whatnot, so I'll have some more time at home - which is helpful, technically. But I've gotten into another one of my hobbies (trying to turn it into a small business next year) and I've been watching Little House on the Prairie for the first time ever which means I need to pay attention so trying to close out the world to read has been tough.  I have high hopes for December I get at least 11 books done (plus the two I'm in the middle of from last month)

- Map of days (already started and loving)
- Pendragon  - which has 10 books in it and since it's a reread/favourite I can breeze through them.

Ideally I'd like one or two off my kindle books too, which I tend to read while I'm waiting in lines or at work so that should be easy enough.

November was a little crazy. But what month hasn't been this year? honestly...   Boyfriend and I are still good. Taking things slow, which is nice. We aren't doing anything christmasy together but new years plans did come up - though I told him NY day was for ASoUE because i need to see that ending!  and i have no patience.

My plans for NaNoWriMo failed. I knew they would but I tried anyways... I got just over 2k written and life took over. Had no energy. I was using my best friend as a sounding board for a few ideas and he kinda ruined some stuff for me so I lost my motivation. This is why I don't talk to people! haha oh well. I'll get to my story, just not right now.

Next year I'm making some big changes to how I do things with my reading/other goals so hopefully that helps. December should be calm enough - though this snow needs to go. We've had some crazy storms this week and they were not fun to drive in (especially when one of your window wipers breaks. luckily it wasn't the driver side)

This is the first year I haven't had a proper christmas tree set up - mostly because of space, but i also don't trust granite to a) not knock it over with his tail and 2) not to pee on it haha silly pup. I have a small table top one (that shows up on my IG so go see it, its pink and pretty!) and even though it's high up, his tail still reaches it when hes playing. I can't win... but he's super cute so he gets away with it. Nothing breakable is on it since I'm not an idiot ;) but it still makes me sad I don't have my big tree up.

see you all in 2019 <3
